7/8/2018 3 Comments Before and AfterI love before and after pictures. Aren't they fun to look at? Sometimes, just a few enhancements is all that is needed. Then there are times I like to add a little magic with those enhancements.

12/2/2017 0 Comments Remembering October. It's been a while, I know. Not good, doing a terrible job of keeping people updated to what I have been up to at Ishkabina's. This will take some practice to get into this routine, be patient with me. I'm so blessed, it's been busy! Weekends and evening with photography and still a full time job and I am LOVING it!! I spent time with some amazing people through October. Here's a few to share. Please know that I do not post pictures unless the client okays it first. I respect all of my clients privacy. I won't lie though, I love to share their beautiful faces with people!
Another blog post will be made for the drop dead gorgeous weddings I have shot, so be sure to check back. I'm off now to get ready for a Christmas Mini...check back for some of those too. So fun!!! 9/23/2017 0 Comments She's TwoThis sweet beautiful little girl turned two. She is one of the busiest most curious little bees that I think I have ever seen. She sported some adorable outfits and those beads on her.....just yes!!!
What do I wear for pictures? This is the most common question I get asked. So, let's talk about this just a bit....
Having a hard time deciding, bring it! I allow 3 outfits but that doesn't mean you can't bring more so I can help you decide what will work best for the location we are at. Bright colors...hot pink, bright yellows, neon colors can make a lot of people look washed out and unflattering in the camera. Don't wear something that you don't feel comfortable in. Your beautiful and you want to feel it! Especially if it's too tight, your face may show your discomfort. Not to mention showing unflattering parts of the body. Too baggy may make you look larger than you really are. A few rules for patterns. Avoid putting horizontal stripes across the larger parts of your body. The wider the stripe, the wider and shorter the area will appear. The higher the contrast in color, the more dramatic the widening effect. You can minimize a stripe's widening effect by mixing with vertical design elements. Large prints. Most women can if they understand their shape. Petite women, instead of a rule of thumb, should use the rule of fist. If the print pattern is the same size or smaller than your fist, you can pull it off. If it's larger, leave the item on the rack and let a taller woman have at it. Women with fuller figures need to be careful as well. Large prints can make you look larger than you are. A good guideline is to stay under the span of your hand. A print that's larger probably won't flatter you. Shoes! Don't forget to coordinate the shoes. Bring what you want BUT bring comfy shoes to walk in. I am an on location photographer, chances are we are walking a bit. Makeup! Bring your makeup bag for touch ups.
