Senior shoots, so fun! I love them and their youthful spirit that is ready to take on the world.  

You can not tell me that the cuteness does not bring a smile to your face. My friend, Cheryl, has these amazing creatures. They may look scary but they are truly the sweetest, all 4 of them. This is a therapy shoot for me. Seriously, with all those kisses and cuddles, how could your day be bad. I couldn't help myself but to post Cole sticking out his tongue at me. 

It's been of week of remembrance in our family. Last week my Uncle Dan went to be with our Lord. Like hopefully all families do, ours came together to share memories and lots of laughter. If you mention Uncle Dan, there's a story and it involves laughter, that's just who he was. I hope he knew how many lives he touched and what a positive impact he has left in the world.
This is one of my favorite photos that has him and my mom. It reminds me of the childhood stories he told me about her, the ones I will cherish forever. A simple moment captured in a simple time.

Thankful to have a day off. I spent time with my fabulous family (fur babies included).....also with my camera, the bees, the flowers and anything else I could possibly photograph. It's my therapy. 

As much as I hate to let summer go, I welcome September. September brings Autumn which is full of chilly nights for cuddling under your favorite blanket, beyond beautiful leaves, crisp apples (honey crisps, how I love them), big orange pumpkins, comfy sweaters and hoodies. Autumn really is my favorite season. To honor my favorite season, today I broke out the Autumn decorations. Let's take a peek, shall we.......

I know it's not Halloween yet but my little gargoyle needed an adventure today, he stays out all year.
