Being around these young adults is invigorating. They are ready to conquer the world, like this young woman. This young lady is not only beautiful but intelligent and talented. Her future holds amazing things for her. I can't wait to see when she really uses her wings to fly, I hope they take her places that she never thought she would go. 

I can't tell you the excitement in our family. My brothers baby girl, our Goddaughter, is expecting. The Lord has seen and answered their prayers. They are being blessed and I could not be any happier for these two beautiful people. They will be amazing parents. This child will have endless amounts of love. Of course, you know that I will be right there, with my camera, capturing every special moment that I can.

Busy means that I get to photograph amazing people and their beautiful moments. Life could not be more perfect and I could not be more blessed!!! This couple, their family and their friends were so much fun! I have such gratitude for being able to photograph their perfect moment.

One of the many reasons I love photography is the creativity that I can put into it. I love to see it all come together. 

I have an addiction. Fabric! I love it!! I have always loved it!! I use to sew quite often but I haven't sewed in a long time. Life got busy!!  Work, raising a child, taking care of elderly parents and family members....nothing that I would have changed for anything in the world. I do miss it, though. I could spend hours in a fabric store, I still can. I can take a piece of fabric and envision what it could be, where it will be, and exactly what it will look like. So, while running into Walmart last weekend, I found this beautiful gold fabric. My mind started racing, it screamed VINTAGE at me! Take me home and do something with me! Okay, I did and I have lots in the works. From simply wrapping it around somebody, using as a cloak (with the hood), to being used as a backdrop, to setting sweet little ones on.....oh, this fabric and I will have a great time adding extra beauty to shoots! 
Yes, I know it's wrinkled. I need a new steamer but it's still beautiful and rich looking, isn't it?!

Seniors are starting to schedule their sessions and I'm super excited. Photographing Seniors is an awesome experience. They are so fierce and full of life. They are ready to face the world and make their dreams come true.

I know it's cold and we are tired of the snow but it really is pretty. You must admit, a snowflakes intricate design is beautiful, a masterpiece of nature's art.  Plus, they seem like a perfect thing to practice using my macro lens on. Practice gets me closer to perfecting my own art.
